camshaft ID

Where are the part numbers located on a porsche camshaft?

Porsche Crest

Eric ... there is no 'proper' part number, but there is a raw casting number ending in 'R' rather than two digits ... and, is is cast along the shaft between two lobes. On the opposite side is the date it was cast ... if it is OEM.
