Blue Ridge Parkway Pictures

I enjoyed driving the Blue Ridge Parkway during my road trip home last weekend, so I thought I would share some higher res images of scenery (and the car) we took during the trip.

If you have pictures of winding foresty drives, post them to share and enjoy. With a good pictures I can almost smell the morning air.

Third gear, fourth gear, brake, turn -- repeat 1000 times. One of the best drives in America, along with the ring around Lake Tahoe and the Pacific Coast Highway south of SF.

Brings back memories, I've run this (plus the slower Skyline Drive north of it) end to end 3 times now!

One question -- I don't see any rain, WHY is the top on???

Sadly it was quite cold and windy, as well as overcast and threatening to rain. Later that afternoon the sun came out and the temperature got up to 55, so we took the top off and put on sweatshirts. Fixing the heat is on my list of things to do!
