You know about MFI???

I seem to have a flat spot or hesitation when I hold my car at a steady speed around 3500 rpm. It kind of bucks, but not violently.I know virtually nothing about MFI. other than that it has worked perfectly until now. My car is a 69S....
I guess I am looking for a starting point.
TIA

been there, done that, got the shirt...........

if you are TRULY looking for a starting point, please search the technical article section of this BB and print and study all the articles about MFI. the one of particular interest is "Check, Measure, and Adjust". in it is contained the step-by-step procedure you should follow to track down a hesitation problem.

assuming your ignition timing, valve clearances, plugs, wires, rotor, cap are all in working order and correctly adjusted, you could be "one click" away from eliminating your hesitation.

in order to understand where to click, and what direction you should be clicking, read the article. a few simple tools will be required, but if you are patient, you can get your MFI system running very well.
