Exclamation In Houston - anyone know a good shop of mechanic for a 3.3 complete reseal?

I have a 930 that has sat for a long period of time. Engine seals are bad and getting worse every time I heat it up. Does anyone know a very good place or person that can do a great full reseal on a 3.3 around Houston. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A known good one is also M Calas at Rennsport in Sealy. excellent.

Hard to believe that nobody has filled the void of the absence of Valkyrie and Pro-Technik yet.
I am in early discussions to start a new shop in Houston focused on Porsche racing and restoration. I'll keep you guys posted.

Sam at ProTechnik has been around for years, and I've used him before when I lived in TX

Mike out in Sealy is the go-to guy as far as I know. Would love to find a backup tho.

Has been out of business for two years at least. Sam sold it several years ago.

M Calas in Sealy is the best in my view. Not cheap, but good choice.

I spoke to Knight, about 1 year ago, just before he moved down here. At that time he told me he was purchasing ProTechnik's shop equipment. He should be should be well situated now, but I have not talked to him since. Knight is good for Houston and of course Mike Callas is top notch. Mike is getting up in age, I wonder how long he'll keep it going.

Williams situation is a little different. He's making a transition from being a race only (Pro GT3, Cup Car and the like) shop to a more street custom shop. He did buy some of Sam's shop equipment and just got a new alignment rack. The transition will take some time as he still has some very demanding race clients in Europe which is where he is at this moment. His shop, when up and running, will be the class of Houston in my opinion. William is very knowledgeable and honest, maybe too honest for his own good. I've heard him talk himself out of a lot of work he could have charged people for.

I've been to Sealy, talked with Sam, and although I like both Knight Race would be my choice hands down. But if he's not here to do your work, I guess it really doesn't matter what I think...
