Anybody have LoJack or another tracking system?
 

I have been thinking about purchasing a LoJack / other type of tracking system for my 911 and now, after reading about Winter's 74 Targa theft, I'm starting to do the pre-purchase research.

Does anybody here have any advise, either way? I know the LoJack is some type of radio transmission and not related to GPS. Additionally, LoJack is "active" in the County I live in and surrounding Counties.

I have Lojack. Don't know if it works or not, my car has never been stolen.
I have a kill switch that I rely on more than the Lojack.

I feel the alarm is only good for the flashing red light on the dash. other than that it is worthless.
Nobody will ever start the car with the kill switch.
The Lojac is 3rd. But it couldn't hurt.

Hi dipso, thanks. I too have a hidden kill switch, then the "club" on the steering wheel. When you had your LoJack installed, did they wire it ahead of your kill switch? So that you could kill power to the engine but not the LoJack? Duh.......
