Reputable shop in Monterey for ppi?
May travel to Monterey to look at a used 911 at a dealership. They picked it up at an estate sale. 86 911 wth 62K miles...but no records. Will check VIN and will get ppi. I don't know the area. I need a trustworthy porsche mechanic in the area for a ppi.

Tom Amon (Ammon?) is a mobile mechanic in the Bay Area, and gets rave reviews for his work. Do a search here on the board for his contact information. I don't know if he goes as far south as Monterey, but if he does you'll be well-served.

David closed his shop and is working at Monterey Porsche right on Fremont Street. If you have to go to an independent, then C& C is a good choice; long time porsche guy
