Odds'n'ends

Just wondering out loud... I'm in the process of putting my interior back together. (BTW, I can't wait until the day I make my 'well here she is...' post!).

Anyway, now that I'm re-installing the shiny new bits, some of the old parts -- little screws, washers, fasteners, etc. -- they look kinda crummy. There's some rust, corrosion, funk.

Has anyone ever thought about making a kit of the most common bits? With as many people as I've seen redoing their interiors, it seems like there would be some usefulness.

I'm asking because going through the PET to assemble a piddly-parts list doesn't seem like my idea of fun.
