Thanks for the memories - R Gruppe Tour de Cambria
To all those who attended this year's event, thank you for your participation. Yes we were down a bit from last year (10%-15%) but we still had a blast. It was nice to gather all the cars for a weekend of driving and bench racing. New friends were made, old ones were rekindled, a mighty fun was had by all and we hope to do this again next year.
New venue up north next year, but let me rest for awhile as I need it after this one. Later guys and thanks memories, its one that will leave a lasting and memorable impression in all of us. Cris Huergas R Gruppe #2 |

Cris congratulations on the event. Sorry I missed it yet again this year.
I had basketball practice with my "Pinoy" team and activities with the kids this weekend. Last year I missed it because it was my son's birthday party. Maybe next time if I still have the car I'll just strap them in it and go. |

Again, this year the "Tour" was enjoyed by all that made the trip. There were some new cars and folks and some that were there before, a great mix of people.
One of the visitors asked me about my RS clone. I stopped him and said "No it's an R Gruppe clone". We had folks with high end cars and folks with cars that had more miles and than May West, probably had the same amount of fun as she had too! The bottom line is everyone had fun!!! R Gruppe events are the best Porsche / people times I have had with all my clothes on! Cris, thanks !!! with all Kim could do to mess things up, the Gruppe came thru! CurtisA, I love your car man! So "today" but yet a touch of yesterday. Done wiht class and style. It was great to add some faces to the Pelicanheads that were there for the event. Nice to meet some of the folks from the board.
