Hello everyone.
I am in the middle of putting a '82 3.0 CIS engine in my '72T. I have a few questions for the group.. Has anybody done this conversion and taken pictures of where they mounted everything? I have the new fuel pump (my old one was in the engine compartment), brain and wires, and fuel accumulator/fuel filter assembly. I'm just confused about where everything goes! I think that the fuel pump is to go under the suspension pan in the front, but I don't see any place to mount it.. seems like the rack is too big and in the way for it to be there. I also understand that the brain goes under the passenger seat, but I'm a little unsure about how the wiring routes. I acquired this car without an engine and have never owned a 911 before... so I'm pretty clueless about how everything hooks up. Any help would be appreciated. Tim |

Great engine to swap out. you will really like the add'l power and smooth operation of the fuel injection. I have a 3.2 in my '73E and it's great.
good luck on the swap out. best guess I could give would be to get a buddy with a SC snd check out where everything goes and match up locations as near as possible. John
