effort to close door
How much pressure should it take to close the doors on 1968 911 or 912? My doors have to be shut pretty firmly, is this normal?

Not lots, but some effort. Does that make sense?

I'm no expert, but just enough pressure to compress the door seal and latch the handle. Too much pressure of force is found if you have to lift, pull or push to compensate for misaligned hinges, striker plates, etc.

My Porsche is so air tight that I have to open a window when closing a door.
