Got a matched set - 911/900 SS/SP

These are a lot alike. They kinda' shuffle along using a nice torque curve to get the job done.

And the Targa -

Full disclosure dictates posting the following. Engine out, a little more cleaning, and engine back. I'm no Magness for sure. LOL!!

I think there are few of us with a similar affinity/affliction. I have had 'Emma' since 2000? The blue bastard hot rod is danger close to rolling down the road for the very first time in my possession

Very nice! Great bob and tasteful reduction in bits and pieces = bada$$ monster. These ducks from the 90's design period are still great looking. The new stuff is so googly and over designed imho.

Nice. I briefly owned a 94 900SS CR (but with SP forks and alum swingarm) about 10 yrs ago. I foolishly got rid of it for a VFR750 that was a great bike but not the same.

If I had room in the garage I'd pick up another 2v Duc.

Did not like the Terblanche restyled 99+ 900SS. A friend of mine had one and it was ugly by comparison, as well as being more of a torture rack than the 916 series. I heard bar risers helped a great deal.
