I used to have a 928 next door, but he sold it. Now I think it's just me and Jeff (Rufblackbird), if a few blocks away counts.

I'm it for 911s in my immediate vicinity, though Dan Novak (DANNOV) is less than a half mile from me, iirc. There's a kid with a beat-up 944 (hood's been in primer for about a year), and that's it. But if you're looking for Eclipses, Miatas, and Z3s, you'll be in heaven.

Hmmm....none that I know of. There's a guy a few blocks up the hill with a Turbo-look Cab, but that's about it. And another guy over on the other side of the hill with an '01 Turbo, in signal yellow, at that.

But I'm holding down the fort here locally with what I've got.

You have to go thirty miles to find a 70 T and an early 928, 90 miles in the other direction to find a Carrera copy on a pre-69 chassis. So many miles-so few Porsches.

None that I am aware of. For the closest neighborhood, take your pick - San Diego or Phoenix (or Turscon for that matter). I've seen a red cab (1989 or earlier) twice recently and once a red boxster w/ AZ plates. Either one was probably passing through Yuma on the way to somewhere else .... Scott, 69 & 76 912/E

I've seen a few but there scarce. I live in the boon docks but when you get close to Boston its a P-CAR Fest. I saw a nice light blue/silver C2 coupe the other day, really brightens things up when that happens. I see at least 4 a day on my commute which could be anywhere in this over built state. Boxsters are everywhere.

Hmmm, looks like my 83 SC, a 914 down the street, and a 944 over in the apartments. Small crowd here tho...only maybe 500-600 total.

Other than mine:

356 Yellow

'55 Carrera Speedster silver
'55 Speedster black
'65 912 silver
same owner all 3

late '90's Turbo dark blue, red interior

'73 Carrera RS white- blue script

And around the block I've seen the silver/bluish SC that was featured in Excellence about six months ago. You remember the article about the two fellows who built hot street race cars one was red and the other was silver. They each had about $75,000 in thier cars. They live in the East Bay

Just mine...which is still in the garage under the knife (no idea how slow this process would be).

However, this subdivision is Vette heaven with two Shelby replicas.

In addition to mine, there are a couple 911's very close

A white slantnose turbo cab hanger queen that I've never seen leave the garage.

A gold 911 SC targa that is a daily driver like mine.

And a Black SC targa that is a frequent vistor down the street.

A white Carrera that I meet at the supermarket frequently

And a gold 996 that we spent some time in the same supermarket discussing how to fit a child seat in the rear (not that the normal seats can really be considered anything but).

Just my 2 in my neighborhood. Guy down the street has a 356 covered up in his garage, though. Everyone on my block is house poor, has 2.5 kids, a minivan or SUV and a company Taurus. You should see the looks I get when I fire up my loud Ducati on weekend mornings. There is a townhome development up the street, and there are lots of Z3s, new Vettes, motorcycles, waverunners etc. Amazing how a big house payment takes over everything else.

The only P-cars I know of are ours (74 911S Targa) and a couple about 4 miles away. 914 and 944...neither of which have engines.

Then again...I live in the middle of nowhere. We're full of Oklahoma cadillacs....(pick-em up trux).
