Rocker rubber

Got new rubber from our host. Normal to have to cut it? Guess it's to accommodate turbo flares....

I installed new rubber last year after repaint. Did not cut. It tends to stretch a little during install and can be compressed a little once it hits the stop on wheel well. How much excess do you have?

The part numbers are the same for Carrera and Turbo according to the catalog...I know the turbo has flares but would that make the rubber needing to be longer...? Not sure that is actually extending the length...dunno, mind bender.

In any event make sure you cut after installed - it stretches and then settles back in.

About 3 inches. It's not shiny either.

Ok, I lied. I just looked at it again, and maybe an inch too long.
