Wheel Balance
After I rotated my tires I started to get a shimmy in the steering around 75mph. Had the front tires rebalanced. No change. Did it again, got a lot better but still a bit of shake. It is not a big deal but the car drives so close to perfect I can still feel it. I eyballed the rims to see if they were bent. Look O.K.. Odd. The tires are AVS's. What about on the car balancing? This is a minor thing but I want to get it right. Thanks, Alex.

The tire could be out of round or have a flat spot. They can still balance either of these, but you will feel it on the road. Take it to a place that will give you a bit extra attention, rather than a chain. Good luck....

Also, make sure that the wheels are placed on the hubs in exactly the same alignment. One of the studs on each of the hubs should a painted red end. Align the wheels so the valve stems are closest to that red stud. If that doesn't change the vibration, you most likely have a defective (out-of-round) tire.

What if non of the studs have the paint marking? How can you tell what stud is supposed to be painted?

Don't the AVS's do this for little while because they flat spot when they cool down?
Just thought I would throw it out there...
