Why do uploaded pictures sometimes appear narrower than 800 pixels?
 

i understand that uploaded pictures are mostly reduced to a width of 800 pixels. But sometimes they come up smaller, like 640 pixels wide. What is the reason. I am talking only about pictures uploaded directly to the Pelican treads, not ones that are referenced from other Internet sites like PhotoBucket.
