How many 1973 E's were made?
How unique is a 1973 911E in RHD? Does anyone know how many were imported to the UK?
Has anyone heard of a blue interior in these 70's cars? Cheers Phil Johnson |

I've got nothing that breaks them down by drive or country. There were 1366 coupes and 1055 Targas made worldwide. There were lots of options for blue interiors for that year: blue leather, blue vinyl, and both of those with plaid cloth inserts.

Phil, there were 182 911E's imported into the UK in 1973 - 105 in Coupe & 77 in Targa form.
Currently the PCGB has 18 Coupe & 15 Targa '73 E's registered. Are you a member of the PCGB ? Porsche POST, the monthly club magazine, has an extensive 'classified ads' section although there are fewer & fewer early cars advertised these days. Whether or not you are a member it would be worth contacting Robin Walker (01296 688 760/07976 541847) &/or Richard Cole (01737 642728) - they are the Secretary & Archivist of the early 911 Register & often get to hear about cars for sale which get sold via word of mouth.
