Rennline Track Mat Fit

Hi All,

I recently purchased a set of Rennline track mats for my 911SC, but I can't seem to get the fit right. As you can see in the picture below, when I take out the carpet and only install the track mat, the paint from the body shows. Is that normal? When I've seen other cars it looks like there is carpeting that covers those areas, but the carpets that came with my 911 cover the floorboards as well. Is there a solution people prefer?

Could you lay down a piece of matte black vinyl wrap in the red area with a little margin to cover the red gap? You could remove it to go back to stock.

That's basically what I was thinking. Cut a piece of carpet to fit under the mat and cover all the gaps.

Just went through this yesterday. The solution is cutting small pieces of carpet to cover the gaps. Easy peezy...

Mine fit that way, too. Planning to fix it with new carpet over that area.
