Splitting brake handle
Hey everyone...
Sorry for the mundane question but now that I have done all the mechanicals on my '89 Carrera I am fixing all those niggly things to bring it to the best possible condition. Something that is bugging me is the top of the brake handle cover has a 2" crack running down from the top button - I would like to repair it if possible and am wondering if anyone has done this successfully. I assume the best way is to glue and clamp. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks. Richard EDIT: Decided to replace it. Last edited by Richard Paris; 05-20-2012 at 06:40 PM.. |

Replace it, gluing it never seems to work that well
