rear view mirror toggle broke - 89 911
The toggle lever on my 89 rear view mirror stopped working. Has this happened to anyone? Can the mirror be opened up and a repair (e.g. JB Weld) made? Pelican lists a replacement for $83 or $115? Is the $83 version the same as the original ($115)? I have no problem trying to order from Germany and pay additional for the Porsche version using Pelican, just asking what the differences might be.

I have the same thing. Been thinking about getting an aftermarket autodim mirror with outside temp.
