Front carpet question (and don't laugh)

Yes, that is the only carpet between you and the floorpan.

PorscheGAL is right, that's all there is.
On my floors I put down 1/4 inch closed cell foam with an MLV (Mass Loaded Vinyl) backing. It cut down on road noise considerably. No gluing - just laid it down. |
