I scanned 3 D the original Wevo shift knob , and machined a bigger one , spherical , that fits perfectly .

All opinions are welcome ,

Thanks !!!

I like it ....looks really good ...

Are you selling them ???

Just showing off your machinist skills ....???

I really like it though ....

Thanks for the compliment.

I not plan to sell them actually , but if there is interest for this knob , why not.

Looks great. Polished looked ricer, black anodised looks...Porsche like. Form follows function.

Pretty cool. How does it bolt on?

Here's my latest one, printed in nylon:

Take the small one and cover it with foam and leather until it gets to the right size for your hand.

That way it will not feel too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, like a metal one does.

Thanks ,

I like the touch of such a form.

I find it more ergonomic for my hand .

I 've had the idea , using my Clio RS1 , witch has the same shift knob , except the base.

I really like the black anodized version, reminds me of my burnt titanium shift knob on my Z..

Yes , i agree , it's an ingenious solution , but , you're going to think i'm crazy but i appreciate the cold of the alloy knob.

Yes , i'm not totally normal.

:D

I like the anodized, how does it mount?

I can handle cold, but a searing hot shift knob is not to my liking. Cars get hot in Hawaii when you leave it outside in the sun all day.

And now , for the factory lever :

ooooh, I like!

JeremyD 06-16-2012 05:17 AM

That's why I went with wood (gets hot in florida)- and I have big hands so wanted a bigger knob
