Rear Windshield Trim

I just reinstalled my rear windshield, and I have a section of about 6" plus a corner where the trim just sits proud. Is there a trick to get it seat fully without doing the whole thing over again?

Unfortunately , I think the answer is no. I had to get a reseal. The trim has to go in first.

I had it in, but as I was installing the windshield, it came unseated. And that was the last corner.

I had the same issue on my 2.4 windshield trim.

Do not remove it another time....for nothing.

Just take a plastic roller ,or the rear part of a screwdriver , and push/roll on the trim .

You can add a bit water to help you , but no grease or similar .

Hope that will help.

Yeah, I don't want to remove it again. I almost had it installed a week ago, and everything went south. So I pulled it and started over. I really don't want to remove it. I feel the seal would be stretched then. I tried some spray silicon, and a wood block. No change. I'll try the roller and water.
