Starting a rebuild

I've been a member of the site since I bought my 1975 911S back in 2005. The car's been sitting collecting dust (literally) for a few years now. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I learn quickly. A few years back a local mechanic wanted to rebuild the engine, etc... He wanted a bunch of $ to do so. I didn't have the case and I always wanted to learn more about cars so I figured if I ever got the time I would do a complete restoration on the car. I purchased the Hayne's manuals and 101 projects for your Porsche. I've been reading them daily. Also, been trolling these boards and the information here is freaking incredible. So 3 days into the restoration and I'm making some progress. I will update with more photos as I go. Also, you can bet I'll be hitting up the other members for advice and so forth.

Previous owner did a cheap-o repaint. Originally it was Cockney Brown. Intent is to try to resore as original as possible. Many of the parts are in really good shape so I can rehab them rather then buy new.

So far I've encounter very little rust. Some in the backseat area and some where the front panels connect to the trunk. Otherwise, its pretty solid. After removing the interior carpet, noticed that the floor panel is bulging up right behind the driver's seat. I think some numbskull put the jack under there to change a tire and it dented the under carriage.

Really looking forward to this project. I dream about it while at work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the car as it looked when I bought it in 2005.
