Question parking brakes

I have an '80sc euro. I went to adjust the parking brakes and there are no holes to stick my little screwdriver in like it says. Seriously, i'm not trying to be perverted, but the hole is blocked off where Wayne's book says to go in. My next step is to pull the rotors off but I just pulled the fronts (with other suspension work) and bled so i was trying to avoid this again. On both rear sides that hole is blocked solid. The parking brake lever pulls up some clicks but doesn't engage so i know some work needs to be done. Suggestions?

What is it blocked with?

It's possible to move the rear calipers off of the rotors without disconnecting the brake line. There is a clip that holds the connection between the flex line and the solid line to the trailing arm. If you remove that clip, then it allows the hard line to flex enough to move the caliper off of the rotor. You may have to use some penetrating oil at the clip to get things loose.

There's just like another layer of metal inside it seems. This is strange. I guess i'll have to pull them off and see why mine's different.

Tummi, not to insult your intelligence, but the first time I tried to adjust the emergency brake I thought it was like the old drum brakes that you adjust in the rear or "inside". To reach the adjustment mechanism on the 911 you go through the outside or "front" of the drum.

No insult taken. I can be dumb, but I don't think it's this time. Hopefully, I can pull them off this weekend. If it's something way stupid on my part, I'll even fess up.

ok, so i guess i need to follow up and say i freaked out too early. I pulled them off and realized that whoever pulled the rotors previously simply did not replace them correctly. I see now that you have to line the hole up on the rotor with the hole on the hub. Basic stuff, yeah. But the guy put the screws back in those threaded holes on the rotor that i think are used to back the rotor off when stuck, not the inset ones that would screw into the hub (which means they never got screwed into the hub). I guess that threw me off at first. If i would have read a little bit further instead of whining here first, i wouldn't have wasted everyone's time. The scary thing though, is the PO is a mechanic and the PO's PO serviced it at a reputable shop. I guess someone smarter than me goofed, too.
