Aero mirrors on 89,wire connections ?

Hey guys,

I'm installing some Aero mirrors on my 89 Carrera and would like to know if anybody has the correct detailed wire connection procedure ?

There are five wires on the OEM electric mirrors and six on the 993 electric mirrors ...The OEM wiring going to the mirror has already been cut and spliced back together at one point so it's just a matter of connecting the right wires together.
I've searched through many posts but didn't find the answer i needed !

Another thing, what's the best way to blend the paint marks on the door as the mirror bases are different in shape ?
Thank you

Cheers !
Phil

I had done this to my SC a few years back and if you didnt have the 993 wire harness, you had to buy custom wire harness from a guy who sold them here, but dont recall his name.
If I recall correctly, the polarity of the mottors/wiring between the SC/Carrera is the opposite than whats in the aero mirrors and these harness would reverse it so that the joystick on the door properly operates the mirrors.
I will see if I can find the wiring diagrams and more info from when I did the conversion.

My aero mirrors came with the harnesses,at least the seller was smart enough to provide them with the mirrors ..
I know that on the OEM harness for the left mirror the wht/gr and wht/brwn are for the horiz movement and the blk and wht/green and gray/green are for the vert movement.
For the right mirror the wht/blue and wht/green are for the horiz movement and the green and blk/blue and gray/green are for the vert movement ...

Now if only somebody could tell me what the wht/red,2x blue/red,green/gray,red/black and brown wires on one side and wht/blue,2x blue/red,green/grayand brown on the other side do for the 993 mirrors.I gather the brown wires are for the heated mirrors on the 993 !

Cheers !
