I'm starting to realize that many of the significant 911 upgrades come in at roughly $3000 apiece, give or take:
1. B&B or GHL heat exchangers/headers with muffler 2. Big Red brakes front and back 3. HRE Fuchs-centered 17" rims to fit the Big Reds 4. PMO carbs 5. 3.4 L Mahle P/C set 6. Top end rebuild (for valve guides, and to install P/C) 7. Pair of better Recaro sport/racing seats and restraints 8. Tranny rebuild and throw in a Quaife 9. MAF and throttle body and chip 10. rfng's bolt-on turbo kit (if it ever gets to market) 11. 3-day racing school to upgrade driver There's probably lots more at $3K a pop, this is just off the top of my head. Spendy hobby.

I guess I need to raise the price. Wouldn't want to be part of a conspiracy.

Its like the threshold of pain when you go to the mechanic.
They well know there is a mental barrier - they seem to have sussed out that if it is under NZ$200 (plus tax, of course), then I will pay with the minimum questioning...

Hey rfng!
Get off this board and back to your garage! The SCWDP membership is waiting for your turbo kit. Get busy, man!
