Cabriolet hard boot cover

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a hard cover like a speedster cover that would go over the existing cabriolet top. Speedster conversion parts are too $$$ and deleting the soft top to install the speedster hard cover in my climate is not a very good option.

I haven't seen one......would not be 'too' expensive to sand cast something that could be finished and gel coated. And be removable like the boot covers in canvas.

But I don't what you are trying to do. If you ever needed to put the top up on the road, there would be no place to store it in the car while away from the home.....the speedster has hinges that allows the top to come up.

Thinking like the my old Saab 900 Turbo. Sectioned into 2 or 3 pcs. If I could find one in 1 pc. it wouldn't be hard to modify it into 2 pcs. for backseat temporary storage if needed.
