Adding fuel return line MFI
Could use some help on where to drill hole for adding line. I found a plug in the rear, but not in the front by fuel pump. I've read that the fuel lines run on the left side of the tunnel. I enclosed a pic of the front line. The pic is a little fuzzy, but can see brake and main fuel line. Any pics of your MFI setup would be great. I'm thinking off drilling a little to the right of other line?

Here's a shot from JeremyD of his 74 which should be close to what you need, as 74 still had MFI in Europe......... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1339410500.jpg The White (original color but now brown) Nylon tubes on these era models are to be removed & discarded, as they crack & fall apart from age. Yours should be steel, but better to do both in Stainless Steel. I can provide Metric Flare fittings for both the 8mm & 10mm SS tube to use normal metric fuel hose fittings, and can provide crimped Hi-Pressure hoses for your MFI if needed. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1339414019.jpg Len at Autosportengineering dot com :) |
You don't need to drill. The hole is already there, just remove the bung...
