MSD and 69 Tacho

Hi there,

I can't get my tacho to work correctly with my MSD unit installed. I have the adapter, but have had no joy.
I read somewhere that the 69 tacho is unique and won't work with an MSD unit. I've emailed MSD a couple of times about this, but they've never replied. Can anyone confirm if this is or is not the case?

Thanks

Adam

In the past, I used my original tach in my 69 E race car. I had to send it to a speedometer shop so they could upgrade it for the MSD ignition.

I can't remember which shop, but they also restore Porsche gauges.
