Reno autocross this weekend - who's going?

Any other Pelican board-lurkers headed to Reno for the PCA autocrosses this weekend? My girlfriend and I are heading out tonite from the Bay Area.

I'm driving a white '86 Carrera cabriolet with a rollbar in it. Come and find me and say hello. Always love to meet fellow Pelican heads.

can't make it for two reasons:
a) that's pretty far for an auto-x, for a track event, maybe.
b) law school finals officially has my lifestyle twisted out of shape.

it will all be over on tuesday of next week though. then its turbo tie rods, new ball joints, new bilsteins and an alignment and corner balance.

good luck out there, after your candlestick performance, it's pretty much TTOD or bust, right?

Sounds like you'll be coming out to the next event with a whole new car, Dave!?!

The Reno turn out was relatively small. There were only about 35 cars, I think. The site was awesome - think Marina only bigger and with better weather. On Saturday, a plane crashed at the end of the runway (we were running at Stead Airport). The guy wasn't hurt, but it made for a lot of excitement. On Sunday, two local classic jet pilots treated us to a little impromptu airshow with their mig 15 and mig 21 jets. Pretty sweet weekend.

Some of the 'really' fast drivers and cars were there, so I was no where CLOSE to TTOD
