Alignment and Corner Balance Northern Virginia

I need an alignment and corner balancing done on my '86 Carrera in the Northern Virginia area. Does anyone know a good shop in this area?

I used RPM Performance for my alignment and was pretty pleased---but it was expensive at $300 or so. Labor in the DC area (they are just south of Alexandria in Lorton) is just expensive. Stan and Kevin are good folks though, and do quality work. They will do a corner balance as well.

Ray and Geoff at ASG in Fairfax are good too.

Drive up to Ft Meade, Md area and let AT Speed Motorsports do the work. Great service and they will give you the full break-down of the issue at a reasonable price.
Ask for Bob or Rich.

There are so many shop in this area. IMA, Intersport, Curry's plus the ones mentioned above. My suggestion is to call them and talk with each one of them. Find one you feel comfortable with after speaking to them. Depending on what you are specifically looking for will determine who you should go with. Be prepared, you will spend between $300-500 for alignment. That's just how much work it is to align one of these cars.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like Intersport Performance, IMA Motorsport and ASG are the ones closest to me coming from Winchester, VA. The issue I have with my car is that the rear wheels have significant different camber setting. The left rear is set at 1 degree while the rear right is set at 3.5 degree. The front left is 2.5 degree and the front right is 1.5 degree. I want to get this corrected as well as getting the car corner balanced since I don't know if it was ever done.

Again thanks for the help, I will give these guys a call.

If you're in Winchester, check out Chapman Auto Werks in Sterling. I have neither affiliation nor experience with them, but I have heard good things about them - and they may be the closest shop to you.

I have taken my car to ASG and they are very good - were thorough and took the time to discuss all options.

Good luck.

I have had excellent experiences with Taylor Chapman back when he was with ASG. I haven't had him do a corner balance / alignment for me at his new shop, but I was very satisfied with his shop performing a minor service on my 964.
