Reliable source for CIS line replacement?

I need to replace my CIS lines (preferably with some new ones made from small-diameter braided hose). I don't want to use nylon line as a replacement. I have chased down most of the sources identified in other posts but am having trouble getting responses/quotes.

Has anybody done this recently (as in last 3-4 months)? Where did you get parts?

Thanks for the help.

:)

The correct CIS fuel line is 3011 Polyamid. It is NOT Nylon. Also available in Polyamid with a SS braid, but the original black Poly tube is adequate and bulletproof. I can supply this in most sizes & wall thickness for the 911.

I have found it very difficult to assemble these lines onto the fittings and have bought various holding tools to help with this.

This is what I have been able to do for the supply & return tubes run thru the tunnel...................

Presently I am working on the main Poly line to the Fuel Distributor from the filter & to the Cold Start injector. It requires a fixture to get the orientation right.

Hope to have one completed this week for a fellow who has been waiting quite a while.

Will post my results shortly. Perhaps this will be the push I need to get it done.

Cheers,

Len

Gowesty has the injector lines for both sides.

Thanks for the replies. I have bad experience with "unsheathed" plastic lines for transfer of flammable stuff and certainly prefer to use something with some "armor" on it.

Len - Do you think you'll be offering full sets in the future?

I ordered this Braided Poly for the RSR version of MFI

but have done only one set to date. It was a real PIA. Part of the difficulty is retaining the braided ends, as I had to use shrink tube to encase the braid at the fittings. The car was shipped out of the country and I never had a chance to take photos.

I am happy to sell this in bulk if someone wants to make up their own lines.

After numerous failed attempts, I now have the correct combination of clamps & tools and have properly assembled this double 90 fitting for the CIS......

I am now confident I can remake the complete set of (8) CIS Polyamid lines. I will post more photos as I progress.

Please, NO PM's. Email me if you have questions.
