Would you bother?

I am in the process of putting my rear suspension back together would you bother to:
Powder coat your oil tank or just paint?
Clear powder coat your alum. Banana arms or maybe just apply a clear coat of some kind or just clean up and reinstall?

Powder coating prep generally involves sand blasting. No way I want to risk any sand in my oil tank, so I'd paint the tank, if it were me.

You can always touch up a chip in paint, but not powder coated parts. I used Por 15 and top coated it black.
