Clutch problem

I have a 1987 911 Turbo with 37,000 miles.
When I depress the clutch pedal to the floor it gets stuck and will not release normally. When I depress the pedal it feels like it is
rubbing against something and then gets stuck. This happens more frequently as the car is driven and things heat up.
Once the pedal "springs" loose, the pedal gets to the engagement point and things work properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Similar thing happened to me on my '88 Carrera. Turned out to be a bad slave cylinder. Pull the floorboard at the pedal cluster and check the slave cylinder for leaking (I think, it's been a long time). Probably a $75 DIY fix if you are handy.

Slave cylinder is usually at the working end (clutch in this case); master cylinder is under the pedal. I would guess you have a master cylinder problem. Look for leaks too. Cheers, Jim
