3.0SC cis converting to 3.2 efi

I have a 82 SC that I would like to convert to the carrera efi system. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a thread on this already. Will the intake fit my heads and how much trouble will I run into installing the intake, dme harness and dme?

You need adapters and someone makes them actually, this link below is for a gentleman that posts here and he is very helpful on this conversion.

TurboKraft : Catalog Home : Carrera Intake Manifold Adapter Set [930 110 459 TK] - $274.00

You still have a few other issues to overcome as well, the first is you need the 3.2l flywheel and you need to modify your 915 to clear the reference sensors that you will need. You also need to address, somehow the cylinder head temperature sensor. For this reasons a lot of people use the 3.2l intake and then some other programmable fuel injection system.

I have assisted in doing this and the CHT was the real issue.. We made a bracket to hold the CHT to the head but it didn't work very well. Maybe someone else will post up with a more elegant solution to that.

They are, if you don't mind the warmup times and the gas mileage.
