A bit surprised to find myself north of 120mph
This old bird continues to amaze me.
Installed new tie rods and decided to give her a quick blast. Very stable and deceptive how fast it got to 5000rpm. At 8500 feet I am used to lackluster NA engine performance, but this car was still pulling. 1974 150hp base model with no mods or chin spoiler/tail.

They are amazing well-built cars for 38 years old! Had mine in 5th at 6000 rpm for a Sunday drive (at the track).

I'm short enough that I don't see the fender tops when I drive so the view from the windshield makes me feel like I'm actually flying, not driving when I"m going fast.
Flying like SUPERMAN! ![]() angela
