Which Seats?

I have a 1988 Granite Green Porsche 911 with Sparco Evo L Seats (unfortunately I don't have the original seats).

These racing seats are somewhat hard to get in and out off and I had an awkward situation this week where a good friend of mine ended up sitting on the sides of the seat instead of in them because she didn't fit (oops).

Thinking through it, I came to the conclusion that what I really want is to have some comfortable (original looking) seats in the car most of the time and if / when I take it to the track have the flexibility to swap in the Sparco's.

Thoughts on this plan?

Any recommendations / suggestions on which seats to get?

I'd start a hunt for some 84-89 optional Porsche sport seats. They are out there, some just sold today here on Pelican. I have 84 black leather Porsche Sport Seats in my 73 T Coupe, I love them.

Porsche changed the desing of the seats in 1985. A set of seats made after that will be easier to install in an '88 than the '81 to '84 version.
