Will a front driver seat fit in our rear seats

Bit of an odd question. Gonna go pick up a seat this weekend (tombstone style) with my 911 and curious if anyone knows if it will fit in the rear seat section of a 75 911? I currently have tombstone seats in the front as well that recline. I was thinking of taking it apart (not sure how hard this is) to make it fit but just wondered if anyone has done something similar without taking it apart?

Are you just talking about transporting it? Or do you mean you want to install it back there?

Not clear.

Not sure what a tombstone style is, but I had 2 '86 sport seats in the back of an 86 carrera. I had to 'recline' them until they were flat then they slid right in.

Sweet. thanks for that. 1 should be doable then.

Was debating if i had to borrow a friends car to transport the seat.

I transported two Sparco fixed back seats in my '84. I all I did was take about 15 minutes and remove the passenger seat - it was only a few bolts - and I had plenty of room for the two seats PLUS a roll bar.

I agree with Ruby. Just to ensure you have room, why not just take out passenger seat, then place it in that spot. No doubts then, and you know you'll be comfortable on return trip. 15min would have to include digging up the tool and putting the jack away...just not that hard.
