Who makes a decent 215/60-15 tire, or equivalent?
Hey everyone
![]() I have a 73RS clone project with 15x7 (205/60) & 15x8 (215/60) that needs new tires. The car currently has "old" Yokohama AVS intermediates on the front and ES100's on the rear. The only tire I can find is the Falken Ziex ZE-512 that kind of meets my needs. I like the look of a meaty sidewall vs. a low profile on that car. That's the only reason I will not upgrade to a 16" tire/wheel combo. If I can find a wider rear with a 25" OD I'm all for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated ![]() Thanks, Ron

Pirelli P6000 in 195/65 x15 and 215/60 x 15 are Porsche approved with correct speed rating and load for the car

I checked on those and couldn't find reference to any on the Pirelli web site. Think they're discontinued, unfortunately.
If you find any, please post the source!

ditto
I just checked TireRack and they do carry P6000's but only in the 195/65-15 size. But they're $191 each! Here is the link: Pirelli*P6000

Saw that, but I also need the 215/60-15.
Guess you're not allowed to have decent tires unless you are a follower of the hot wheels fad.

The General Altimax HP looks the part and got great reviews. I'm also looking at tires that size and its skim pickings. The P6000's I'm replacing ride just terrible, save your money.

I recently have seen a set of new Pirelli P6000 in 195/65/15 and 215/60/15 with the correct "N2" markings with production date March 2012 so they definately keep on producing them and they are available at least in Europe from stock.
Through a German Pirelli test engineer I have heard that the somehow new P6000 N2 specification is way better compared to the former N1 and now uses quite modern rubber compounds. It's right that they are not shown on the official web-site. Cheers, Chris

Just found that Fuzion makes makes a 195/65, 205/60, and a 215/60 tire in their "touring" model. I had Fuzion's on my old MB and they were pretty good. But then again, that was on a heavy front engine sedan
![]() Has anyone have any experience with the Fuzion's on a Pcar?
