What Size of Dzus>

Hi,

Propably going to use Dzus fasteners on my rear quarters. I say probably, because it is tempting to just bond them.

What size do I need?

How many per quarter?

Thanks for any help.

I used 12 per side on my car, the number you use could be different depending on layout and spacing...

You need to figure out the length of the dzus component to use also.... figure a stack of 20ga steel and 3/32 glass with a bit of space etc..

Thanks for the reply.

Have you ever had them come loose?

If you did it again, would you just bond the panel?

On aircraft we use a Dzus that has a collar that is set with special Dzus tools. The outer piece would only show a bezel and the slotted screw head. This works for aluminum, not sure about installing on F/G? Also you can get Stainless Steel Dzus.
