horn fuse/relay location for '87 Carrera

I am installing a new steering wheel in the next day or so - and I need to know where the horn relay or fuse is so I can avoid the 'beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' when removing the old one...

I did a search but really didn't find anything for my era of car.

Thanks!!!!!!!

I have an SC....so it may be different.....but if you pull the cover off the fuse box inside the front trunk, look inside there is a list and description of functions.

I looked in the Bentley....hmm, no listing.....disconnect the negative on the battery if it's not listed.

Well, good try joebob - but, not a listing to be found on the cover or anywhere near the fuse box, I actually looked there and in the owner's manual before I posted... perhaps it fell off at some time.

I truly hate disconnecting the battery in this car - any ideas anyone?

I went and checked my cover, no listing there either.

I seem to remember, when I changed my wheel and also when I did the bearing sleeve replacement I slipped a plastic shield over the spade connector. Didn't bother looking for it if I recall.

On my '87, it's relay C, the third from the front in the fuse panel.

He's right....brain fart. Relay #3, number 1 is towards the front of the car. It's in the Bentley, page 971-4

CanadaKev - Thanks so much - the guys here at work will appreciate the absence of sad little Porsche horn noise....

Someday, if you get a chance - could you post the other half of the fuse box sticker - Since mine is missing, it would be great to have these as reference.
