84 Carrera speedometer help
 

Just got my speedo back from nhollywood and the odometer is working, but the speedo isn't. I was hoping someone could pull theirs and confirm my connections before I go crazy and start tracing wires everywhere for loose connections.

Leaving out the bulbs and starting with the red and black stripe

1. Red/black
2. Space
3. White/red
4. triple from outside moving towards center- br/red (same bundle as red and white), black, br/red no bundle
5. From outside moving towards center- double brown (2 wires), brown/red to bundle, all brown bundled with all black wire

Wow talk about crazy, my speedo works sometimes then dies, then works again depending on how long I drive it. Anyone experience that before with a freshly rebuilt speedo?

Don't know if this helps any, but when I pulled mine to send it to NHollywood (odometer), here is one of the photos I took before I disconnected everything. It did work fine when I hooked it back up...

Just a quick update- I sent my speedo back to north Hollywood and e fixed it again for free, probably shipping knocking something loose. I can drive again and I am so stoked!
