Rear seat belts for '72

Were rear belts an option in '72? I have the retractable fronts but no rears, need something for the kids.

If the anchors are there I presume most any belts would fit.

Yes, they were an available option. The point for the lower anchors should already be in the buckets for the seats. Pelican and PE Parts (www.peparts.com) sells new belts for this application. If you want, you can install 3 point belts as well but the retractors really eat into the availble seating space. For my 73 I installed old fashioned, non retracting belts (PEParts) so my kids could ride with me.
