tail light lens help - euro- matching
![]() Bought a pair of tail light lens awhile ago... kinda got screwed because they dont match color on the turn signal part....and the seller didn't say anything about it and said he didnt notice it when I asked about it. Didnt have time to mess with it and to paying for return shipping. Now Im wanting to take care of loose ends. Need to find out where to buy the matching one. Both look, and are brand new. Anyone know how to proceed? As you can see one of them is more yellow and the other is more orange. One of them, on the back, has a grey paint over the silver paint. The other does not. Both of them have a BOSCH logo on it, but slightly differently done. They must be from different manufacturers.. but which store carries which one? any advice is much appreciated.... thanks! |

Anyone buy one recently from Pelican Parts? is it more yellow or orange? I can see myself ordering a left one and end up needing the right one in that color... then have to pay return shipping and restocking... not fun....

Here's a picture of mine, recently installed. It looks to be closer to your oranger one. This is what Pelican currently sells, the repro from Tasker Metal Products (PEL-TMP-9448CE). It's nice, but no guarantee of a match probably. Still, Pelican is good enough to deal with that you could probably return it easily if it wasn't. They're not going to charge you a restocking fee I don't think.

Follow this link to the Pelican site: Porsche 911 Lights and Lenses - Page 4.
Scroll down to the reproduction lenses and you can see a significant difference in the amber colors to two brands offered. You may wish to call Pelican and ask them to look at the pictures you posted and see if they can match one or the other.

Driver's side, with markings more clearly visible. All same as passenger side. No Bosch logo.

If I remember correctly, Pelican sells OEM and repro lenses. The repros don't match OEM so you have to buy them in pairs.
