The door stay ripped out even with the reinforcing kit? Was the door cracked before installing the kit?

sometimes it's best to replace the door with a good one.

the outer skin has a fresh paint so i will live with this for now. this is not catastrophic but just another bummer factor on my car. my advice to the forum members is that install the reinforcement kit sooner than later. when I installed my reinforcement kit, the sheet metal was already in an ugly state. PO just had large fender washers to have the door check "hanging" in there. I knew it wouldn't hold long when i put the reinforcement kit...
wait...gamroth recently had a customer converting to FRP doors. May be I snatch that original steel door... :-)

that is what my door looked like, i cut it open to try and fix, ended up just buying a new door at Hershey...easier and cheaper
