Alternator compatibility 3.0L / 3.2L
 

quick question, i am building up a 3.5L motor based on a 3.2L, have a line on a new 3.0L alternator, p/n 911-603-120-04, the 3.2L calls for a 911-603-120-05, are these two basically compatible? Most accessories like AC have been removed.

The two alternators are different depths and require different mounting rings. Search for posts of my name -- I posted a picture showing both alternators about 2-3 weeks ago when answering the same question.
