Show me your recovered dash pics
Hi guys,
I am in the process of collecting up all the required bits and bobs for a completed interior refurbishment. I have an 82 SC Ferry Special which should have a burgundy dashboard, however a PO painted it black and changed the inetrior to black. I have searched for a burgundy replacement to no avail and no one sells them in any colour apart from black. So my only course of action is to recover the dash with leather. As you can see from the pic the ac vent hole is warped and although I have found someone who claims he can repair it I am sceptical. Anyway I really want to see pics of dashes which have been recovered in leather. I have the following question; Is it more difficult to re-install once leather is on?

I could be wrong but I think the "Ferry Special" has full leather including the dash. I'm sure GAHH can get the right leather for you.

Some had full leather interior inclding dash and some had as per picture below, it has proven impossible to find the correct fabric so I will go full leather. I already have a source for a full interior kit carpets, seat covers, door panel etc through Lakewell in Belgium not cheap at 3200 Euros but there work is excellent and they use original carpet. I have ordered new visors, door pockets and targa top resto kit from them just waiting on its arrival.
