touch up paint question

Guys, is it better to do a couple thin coats with a touch up brush or to "dab" it on there thick in one coat? Talking about the little brush in can touch up paint that my local Dupont dealer mixed for me.
Thanks,
Mike

Keep filling the chip, dab, dry, dab, dry, when it get as high or a little higher than the paint around it, you can block wet sand it with 2000 grit and polish it. It will hide it better.
