Porsche Crest Webasto gas heater

Hi all,

Sorry for the commercial post but this item is pretty rare and has been the topic of previous posts here. I have the main unit of a 911 webasto gas heater up on ebay; auction ends tomorrow night.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1828355107&

Cheers,

I heard webasto still makes gas heaters for cars. Is this true and they must be safer?

Maybe our european friends know.

Yes, Webasto does still make gas fired heaters. Not sure if they are safer than the old ones or not. But, given the new laws etc. I have to assume they are. I work in the heavy truck industry and we still offer their diesel powered units as an optional heater in the sleeper compartment of the trucks.
