accidentally pulled out my plug wire

Ok. I'm an idiot....

I was cleaning out my engine compartment and polishing my upper valve covers and I pulled out 2 plug wires... geeshh..

so I thought I inserted them in right but when I cranked her up she seems like she's dying for air ... more like a spark! So I've wiggled it around a little and thought I got it in right but still running a little slow.

I'm at the point where I'm thinking of pulling the cover off... but is oil gonna spew everywhere?

Can someone advise me... I could use some assistance.

Do you mean you pulled the plug wire out of the Beru connector? If so, just pull the connector off the spark plug and 'screw' it back on the plug wire. The connectors actually have little machine screws that bite into the center of the plug wire.

Chris.

Thanks Chris. It worked out like you said.

I'm wondering if I damaged the head of the plug though... Maybe I'll just replace them for peace of mind.

Thanks

It would be nearly impossible to damage a spark plug with only the spark plug wire connector. If you put the connector back on the wire properly and it make a good connection to the top of the spark plug, your engine is just fine. Stop worrying. Cheers, Jim
